S.A.L.S.A. Meetings…An Open Invitation!
(Stampers At Large Stamping Away)

Founded in March of 1994 by Sue Ellen Laws, SALSA is a cooperative club of novice and veteran
stampers who meet informally to share ideas and enthusiasm for Stamp Art. Our meetings are
held on the fourth Saturday of each month with the exception of November and December, when
we meet on the third Saturday.

We meet at Kettle Restaurant west of I-10 and on the north side of Starr Pass.  The gathering generally meets for about two hours. Each month a voluntary card exchange and a voluntary ATC exchange are offered ; a demo
or class of some kind is given, and an open sharing time is honored. Food and drink are
available at the restaurant and are allowed in the enclosed meeting room. In return for using their
meeting room free of charge, SALSA members have made a commitment to purchase either a
breakfast or lunch.

Topics of discussion may include upcoming convention information, tips and techniques, new
product information, sales and specials regarding stamping, catalog information and sometimes
sharing of excess supplies.

Following the meeting is an optional class, which requires pre-registration and payment.
Classes vary month to month and may cost anywhere from $15 to $30, depending on the teacher
and what is being taught. Classes are announced at the preceding month’s meeting.

Membership dues are $12 per year, which entitles you to a Directory, a monthly newsletter and
access to our website. Voluntary donations are accepted at each meeting and are used to send
out birthday, get well and support cards to registered members, as well as supporting the Web
Site. Leadership is shared and voluntary. For additional information, you may contact us at info@salsa-tucson.org or at 520-440-5013.
